FACT or FRICTION

1. To DOWNLOAD the Free PowerPoint Presentation, RIGHT CLICK HERE and select SAVE TARGET AS. (Use right mouse button and click on "HERE" above. Choose SAVE TARGET AS from menu) and select location to save to on your computer. I suggest the desktop.

This file can take 25-40 minutes if you're on a dial-up modem or just 2-3 min on a high speed connection.

Detailed Instructions for the novice:

Download the file by right-clicking the blue link above.
Depending on which browser you're using, you should see this menu:
Choose "Save Target As". If you use Netscape choose "Save Link As".
After choosing "Save Target As" or "Save Link As", save the file to your desktop. That's the first screen you see. Saving it to your desktop, makes it easy to find.
Double-click the Fact_or_Friction.ppt icon on your desktop (or the program file on your hard drive, it you saved it somewhere else) to start PowerPoint and view the document.

On some computers you may have to open PowerPoint first to view the presentation.

2. If you don't have Microsoft PowerPoint you can download a FREE version to view the file!

4. Instructions

To install the free viewer:

Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to your hard disk. Saving it to your desktop, makes it easy to find.
Double-click the PPViewer.exe program file on your hard disk (or icon on your desktop) to start the setup program.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

To install on a computer running Windows 98 Second Edition (SE):

Install the updated Windows installer for Windows 98.
Restart your computer.
Follow the installation instructions in the section above.

Instructions for use:

Once you have installed this download, from the Start menu under All Programs, open Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003.

Note: The PowerPoint 2003 Viewer registers with the .ppt, .pot, and .pps file extensions only if a version of PowerPoint is not installed on your computer. If registered, double-clicking on these file types will automatically launch the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer.
